About Dilys Treacle Treasures
Hello, I’m Janine. Welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting.
I’m a greetings card designer, but mainly I’m a window dresser. Hopefully one day I will be mainly a greetings card designer. I run a small business called Dilys Treacle Treasures, designing and producing cards, which I’ve been selling in small quantities online and at local craft fairs in Sheffield.
If you’re wondering about Dilys Treacle, she is a porcelain wren, purchased at an antique fair in Sheffield in the summer of 2008, for the bargain price of £3.00, due to a chipped beak. I was stuck for a name when I started up, and decided on Dilys Treacle Treasures, as a temporary measure really, as I thought it sounded nice, but now it’s here to stay! I use a stitched illustration of Dilys as my logo.
My blog is not purely about my cards, it is a place where I like to post up other random stuff I like too. I am a big fan of charity shops and antique shops, not to mention jumble sales, car boot sales and flea markets, so I do love to share pictures of my purchases and anything else that take my fancy aswell.
If you are interested in my cards, please have a look at my website. I will be adding more things to the shop in due course and am working on new ranges as we speak!

Hello. I came by your site by accident as I was looking for 1930s Art Deco cup and saucers by Tams Ware and found pictures of Adam Ant instead, who I am also a fan of but didn’t get to see a show. I have to say I enjoyed your site very much in looking at all of your beautiful vintage treasures and wonderful photos, but I have to say your sewing room as I too sew. I’m also in the process of setting up a WordPress page. This is all so uncanny.
My name is Cee Jay and I hope you are well.
With thanks in reading my message.
Thank-you very much Dr. Kirby, thank you for lookin’X
I’m pleased you cleared up the name query. Congrats on a marvelous site!
